On March 11, Foton Motor issued an official statement in response to the content of an electric heavy-duty truck evaluation released by Truck Home across platforms including Douyin, Kuaishou, and WeChat Video. The statement emphasized that the evaluation video, which compared electricity consumption data among electric heavy-duty trucks, accused Auman brand products of exhibiting excessive performance differences. However, Foton Motor asserts that this evaluation lacked scientific rigor and consequently tarnished the reputation of the Auman brand, as well as disrupted the fair competitive landscape within the market.
