On Thursday evening, local time, Tesla unveiled its latest-generation Roadster sports car in Texas, performing awe-inspiring stunts and showcasing its remarkable "hover-and-flip" flight capabilities. This vehicle is outfitted with a cutting-edge cold gas thruster system, co-developed with SpaceX, allowing it to scale near-vertical walls, cling to rooftops, and execute rocket-like aerial landings and rolls. The Roadster will be available in three versions: Performance, Thrust, and Rocket, boasting a range of roughly 483 kilometers and a top speed surpassing 370 kilometers per hour. Although Tesla intends to commence production in 2028, numerous analysts express skepticism, suggesting that this model is unlikely to substantially boost Tesla's revenues in the near future.
