On October 13, Zunjie Auto issued a statement titled "Clarification on Brake Pedal Testing of the Zunjie V800," revealing that on October 11, a nationally certified third-party testing organization conducted an inspection on the brake pedal of the Zunjie V800. The test results indicated that the pedal met the requirements of the industry standard QC/T 788-2018, withstanding a longitudinal force of 1500N and demonstrating an average displacement of 2.61mm. Moreover, under a more rigorous test with a longitudinal force of 3000N, no cracks or damage were detected on the brake pedal. This statement came in response to a prior testing video released by Dongchedi, which had sparked public concern by showing the brake pedal bracket of the Zunjie V800 fracturing during an emergency braking scenario. Zunjie Auto has pledged to further refine the design of the relevant components and offer complimentary upgrades for vehicles already delivered to customers.
