LYNK&CO has released an official statement concerning a traffic incident involving a LYNK&CO 10 EM-P vehicle in Luzhou, Sichuan Province. In the predawn hours of October 9, a LYNK&CO 10 EM-P vehicle veered off the roadway on a local national highway, presumably due to the driver's unfamiliarity with the terrain, resulting in a rollover and a harrowing descent of nearly 100 meters down a steep cliff. During the accident, the vehicle's airbags deployed instantaneously, and the emergency rescue system automatically sprang into action, establishing contact with the driver. Following a series of violent impacts and rolls, the passenger compartment maintained its structural integrity, with the A, B, and C pillars remaining undeformed. The doors could be opened without difficulty, and the battery exhibited no signs of smoking, fire, explosion, or electrical leakage. Subsequent medical examination at a hospital revealed that the driver had sustained only minor abrasions and local bone fractures, and was in a stable mental state. LYNK&CO has swiftly activated its emergency response protocol to aid in managing the aftermath and will continue to closely monitor the driver's recovery process, offering necessary assistance. At present, the local traffic police department is conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the precise cause of the accident.
