On September 20, figures unveiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers revealed that, spanning from January to August in 2026, the top 10 sedan manufacturers, ranked by sales volume, achieved a cumulative sales tally of 4.014 million units. This figure represents a significant 67.9% share of the overall sedan market sales. Notably, SAIC Motor and Tesla witnessed a year-on-year increase in their sales figures, whereas the remaining companies in the top 10 experienced a decline in sales compared to the same period the previous year.
