On September 18, during a routine press conference held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, when asked about the EU's request for China to voluntarily cap its hybrid vehicle exports to Europe at no more than 15%, spokesperson Guo Jiakun emphasized that the core of China-EU economic and trade relations lies in mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. He expressed the hope that the EU would honor its commitments to market openness and free trade principles. Additionally, he stated that China would closely observe the EU's actions to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.
