Data from Nanjing Customs reveals that during the first eight months of this year, Taicang Port in Jiangsu—the largest automobile export hub along the Yangtze River Basin—exported 920,000 vehicles. This figure marks a year-on-year surge of nearly 80%, surpassing the total export volume of the entire previous year and reaching an all-time high. Notably, exports to countries participating in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative witnessed a remarkable 1.1-fold increase compared to the same period last year. Moreover, Taicang Port has maintained a monthly export volume of over 100,000 vehicles for five consecutive months, with its export markets spanning 168 countries and regions across the globe.
