Back in March of this year, Mercedes-Benz rolled out the latest iteration of its flagship SUV, the GLS. Now, the automaker has teased an even more opulent variant: the new Maybach GLS, initially spotlighting its signature front-end lighting design. This design boasts an illuminated grille surround, headlamps adorned with a star emblem pattern, sleek LED daytime running lights, as well as illuminated Maybach and Mercedes-Benz star emblems on the front fascia, all enhanced by a welcoming approach lighting system. The new model is slated to make its debut within the year, with a potential release before summer's end.

Drawing from the regular GLS, the new Maybach GLS will feature a plethora of upgrades, including a cockpit equipped with the MBUX Superscreen, a trio of displays powered by Mercedes-Benz's cutting-edge in-car infotainment software. When it comes to performance, the vehicle is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, featuring a flat-plane crankshaft. This powerhouse is projected to deliver a maximum output of 390 kilowatts and a peak torque of 750 Newton-meters, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience.
