IM Motors has released a statement clarifying that its subsidiary, Kunming Zhihe Yuexing, encountered a disruption in its funding chain owing to complications related to private lending. This issue subsequently impacted vehicle delivery and certificate issuance processes in Kunming, as well as those at the affiliated Zhuhai Zhihe Yuexing. In response to the incident, IM Motors swiftly organized a specialized task force to manage and rectify the situation. As of July 17, the process of reaching out to affected users and organizing relevant information has been finalized. Since July 18, relevant services have gradually recommenced. It is expected that all orders for standard vehicle purchases will be fulfilled and delivered by the end of this week. IM Motors extended apologies to the customers affected and highlighted that certain entities and individuals have engaged in malicious attempts to tarnish the brand's reputation, for which the company has secured pertinent evidence of infringement. Furthermore, IM Motors underscored that its dealership operations across the nation continue to operate steadily, with 26 new stores having opened in June and July of this year.
