The company is actively seeking a Government Relations Manager for its automotive division in Malaysia, a move that has already garnered over 100 applications. This role will be pivotal in managing government and regulatory affairs for Xiaomi Auto within the Malaysian market. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of five years' relevant work experience and have a comprehensive understanding of local policies, regulations, automotive industry operations, and trade compliance standards.

Xiaomi Auto has laid out a strategic roadmap for its global expansion, set to commence in the third and fourth quarters of 2027. The company's approach is methodical: it will first target developed markets before expanding into developing countries. The initial product lineup will focus on mid-to-high-end models, gradually extending to the mid-range market. Additionally, Xiaomi Auto plans to introduce right-hand drive models ahead of left-hand drive variants, catering to specific market preferences.
