On July 15th, news emerged that the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute has taken the helm in establishing China's inaugural pilot program for bonded inspection of defective automotive parts sourced from overseas. This groundbreaking initiative has been set up within the Chongqing Lianglu-Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Notably, the inaugural consignment of defective parts, originating from Saudi Changan Automobile, has already reached the zone and is currently undergoing inspection procedures.
