Commencing on June 1, the recommended national standard titled "Specifications for Defect Monitoring and Analysis of Traction Batteries in Battery Swap Applications" (GB/T47283—2026) will be formally enforced. Concurrently, the "Key Priorities for Automotive Standardization Efforts in 2026" have also been unveiled, outlining 15 strategies across four key domains to further refine the automotive standard framework, elevate the caliber of standard provisions, and foster deeper international collaboration.
Industry experts highlight that the recent flurry of standard introductions and strategic plans will effectively tackle challenges such as excessive industry competition, technological gaps, and safety vulnerabilities.
