Li Auto's Base Model Department has recently finalized a significant organizational restructuring, incorporating three new second-tier departments dedicated to embodied intelligence: Embodied Engineering, Embodied Interaction, and Embodied Behavior. Concurrently, the Autonomous Driving Department has been upgraded to an autonomous second-tier entity, standing on equal footing with other key departments such as Data Engine, Simulation, and Evaluation.
Following this strategic realignment, Zhan Kun, the leader of the Base Model Department, will oversee the Autonomous Driving, Embodied Engineering, and Embodied Behavior departments, with direct reporting lines to CTO Xie Yan.
