On May 21st, Tesla formally unveiled its latest rollout strategy for the Supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) system, officially confirming its introduction to the Chinese market. In recent times, Tesla China has advertised numerous job positions centered around intelligent driving testing, fueling speculation within the industry. When a journalist, posing as a Tesla customer, reached out to Tesla's customer service, they were informed that the intelligent assisted driving feature, priced at RMB 64,000, is not accessible across all Tesla models. Instead, certain models are only compatible with the enhanced assisted driving function, which costs RMB 32,000. Tesla is diligently working through the approval process, adhering to national regulatory standards, and aims to introduce the system to Chinese users promptly upon receiving the necessary approvals.
