On April 21, during the 2026 "Super Tech Day" event, CATL officially introduced its third-generation Qilin battery to the public. This cutting-edge battery boasts ultra-fast charging capabilities, equivalent to a 10C rate with a peak of 15C, ensuring rapid replenishment of power. It achieves an impressive gravimetric energy density of 280Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 600Wh/L, enabling vehicles to travel over 1000km on a single charge. Moreover, the battery incorporates an innovative thermal-electric separation technology, which not only supports 10C equivalent charging but also delivers a peak discharge power of up to 3000kW, setting a new benchmark in battery performance.
