On April 20th, Mengshi Automobile hosted its Spring Product Launch Event in Wuhan, marking a significant escalation in its partnership with Huawei Qian Kun (Qiankun). The collaboration has evolved from 'product co-creation' to 'comprehensive co-creation'. Mengshi Automobile is now poised to concentrate on 'crafting the most user-friendly new energy off-road vehicles' and has, for the first time, introduced eight groundbreaking intelligent off-road technologies. These include an 896-line LiDAR system, the most extensive off-road sensing suite boasting over 50 sensors, and the Mengshi Panshi Chassis 2.0. Notably, the LiDAR system employs a dual-optical-path architecture, delivering over 95% sensing accuracy and the ability to detect obstacles as diminutive as 14 cm in height from a distance of 120 meters. The Panshi Chassis 2.0 seamlessly integrates seven functions into a cohesive system, bolstering both off-road safety and comfort. Furthermore, Mengshi Automobile has outlined plans to roll out four new models in the ensuing two years, commence pilot operations for intelligent off-road bases, and expand its footprint to 100 locations by 2027.
