On April 21, RoboSense (02498.HK) formally introduced its innovative 'Genesis' digital architecture, accompanied by two state-of-the-art flagship chips developed on this groundbreaking platform. The 'Genesis' architecture represents a highly adaptable and rapidly iterable SPAD-SoC (Single Photon Avalanche Diode - System on a Chip) chip-level solution platform, offering robust core support for the large-scale and high-performance evolution of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology. Among the chips, the Phoenix stands out as the world's pioneer automotive-grade SPAD-SoC, boasting native 2160-line single-chip integration. It features an impressive resolution exceeding 4 megapixels and an ultra-long detection range of up to 600 meters. The Phoenix chip is slated to commence mass production for automotive applications in 2026. Additionally, the Peacock chip is projected to enter mass production in the third quarter of 2026, primarily catering to markets such as automotive blind-spot assistance, robotics, and spatial intelligence solutions.
