On April 16 (local time), Stellantis unveiled a hefty €100 million investment aimed at revamping its Poissy factory, located in the vicinity of Paris. Presently, the factory is engaged in the production of compact SUVs, including models like the Opel Mokka and DS series. The fresh investment plan guarantees that the assembly of new vehicles will persist at the factory, at the very least, until the close of 2028. From 2029 onward, the factory is set to pivot towards a spectrum of diversified industrial endeavors. These will encompass the manufacturing of automotive components, the recycling of end-of-life vehicles, and the 3D printing of specialized vehicle models.
