CITIC Construction Investment's research report highlights that the solid-state battery sector is making significant strides towards industrialization. Multiple companies have announced the launch of production lines, project filings, and the completion of financing rounds. There is a noticeable surge in the establishment of pilot and mass production lines, signaling a revival in the sector's prosperity. Presently, the entire sector possesses considerable investment potential, with leading battery manufacturers initiating bids for GWh-scale solid-state battery production equipment. It is expected that small-scale demonstration projects will be realized by 2027, paving the way for large-scale mass production by 2030. The period for equipment companies to secure orders and deliver performance results is approaching, and the industrial chain is anticipated to witness a simultaneous increase in both volume and pricing. Therefore, CITIC Construction Investment remains bullish on the investment value of both lithium-ion battery equipment and solid-state battery sectors.
