On April 13, Li Chenggang, the international trade negotiator and Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Commerce, met with Stuart Rowley, Ford Motor Company’s Global Executive Vice President and Chief Governmental Affairs Officer, in Beijing. During the meeting, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on a range of topics, including China-U.S. economic and trade relations and Ford’s development strategy in the Chinese market.
Li Chenggang highlighted the complementary nature of the automotive industries in China and the United States, emphasizing the vast potential for mutual benefit. He expressed his hope that Ford would further deepen its commitment to the Chinese market and strengthen bilateral cooperation, leveraging China’s robust industrial ecosystem and market demand.
Rowley responded by expressing Ford’s enthusiasm for exploring new collaborative opportunities with Chinese partners.
