The State Administration for Market Regulation (also known as the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China) has recently given its nod to and published a series of crucial national standards. These standards span across burgeoning sectors and workplace safety domains. Specifically, for the emerging fields, a total of 18 standards have been rolled out. These encompass intelligent connected vehicles, semiconductor devices, brain-computer interfaces, and Beidou chips, with the aim of fostering high-caliber development in cutting-edge technologies.

Furthermore, to bolster electrical safety, 8 standards have been introduced for lithium-ion batteries, mobile power supplies, and industrial power supply systems. Additionally, 19 standards have been launched for electromagnetic, nano, communication, electroacoustic equipment, and materials, providing a solid foundation for the safe and systematic progression of related industries.

In the shipbuilding sector, 14 standards have been released, including those for intelligent ships and marine methanol fuel engines. These standards cover design and construction, power systems, and safety protection, thereby advancing the safety, intelligence, and environmental friendliness of the shipbuilding industry.

Lastly, 10 new material standards have been unveiled, including specifications for silicon carbide single crystals, polyacrylonitrile-based oxidized fibers, and carbon fiber-reinforced composites. These standards delineate technical requirements and testing methods, paving the way for the widespread application and industrial growth of new materials.
