Recently, nine departments, spearheaded by the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, jointly released the Implementation Guidelines for the 2026 Car Trade-In Program in Fujian Province. According to these guidelines, individual consumers opting to trade in their qualified vehicles for new energy passenger cars that meet specified criteria are eligible for a subsidy equivalent to 8% of the new car's purchase price, capped at 15,000 yuan. Meanwhile, those who choose to trade in for eligible fuel-powered passenger cars will receive a subsidy amounting to 6% of the new car's price, with a maximum limit of 13,000 yuan.
