During the period from February 1 to 8, China witnessed retail sales of 328,000 passenger cars, reflecting a notable 54% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to the corresponding period in February of the previous year. Additionally, there was a 37% month-on-month (MoM) rise when juxtaposed with the sales figures from the same timeframe in the preceding month. Since the onset of this year, the cumulative retail sales have amounted to 1.872 million units, experiencing a 7% YoY decline. Concurrently, manufacturers' wholesale volumes reached 284,000 units during the same period, exhibiting a 46% YoY growth compared to February of the previous year and a 3% MoM uptick. The cumulative wholesale volume for the year so far stands at 2.257 million units, down by 2% YoY.
