On the eve of Little New Year during a live-streamed event, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, delved into discussions about the next-generation Xiaomi SU7. He announced that the last unit of the first-generation SU7 has come off the assembly line, and special arrangements are being made for long-standing Mi fans to receive their vehicles. To date, nearly 370,000 units of the first-generation SU7 have been produced. Currently, the production line is undergoing upgrades in anticipation of the mass production of the new-generation model. The new-generation SU7 opened for pre-orders on January 7, presenting three distinct versions, each with a price hike compared to its predecessor. Across all variants, the new model features the V6s Plus super motor, boasting enhanced power parameters. In the realm of intelligent driving, all variants come standard with LiDAR and are equipped with an assisted driving chip boasting 700TOPS of computing power, marking an approximate 38% increase. The system has also been upgraded to the Xiaomi HAD (Highly Automated Driving) assisted driving system. Furthermore, the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 achieves a maximum CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) pure electric range of 902km, setting a new benchmark in the electric vehicle market.
