Ankai Bus has reported that its production output for January 2026 reached a total of 761 units, matching its cumulative production for the month and marking a significant year-on-year increase of 35.65%. Breaking down the figures, large bus production stood at 331 units, reflecting a 23.51% rise compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, medium-sized bus production surged to 388 units, a remarkable 226.05% increase year-on-year. However, light bus production experienced a downturn, with 42 units produced, representing a 75.86% decrease year-on-year.
In terms of sales performance, Ankai Bus recorded a monthly sales volume of 458 units, which also constituted its cumulative sales for the month, albeit with an 18.36% decline year-on-year. Specifically, sales of large buses dropped to 102 units, a 54.46% decrease from the previous year. Conversely, medium-sized buses enjoyed robust sales, with 296 units sold, up 116.06% year-on-year. Light buses, on the other hand, saw their sales decrease to 60 units, a 70.00% drop compared to the same period last year.
