According to 36Kr, Li Auto has officially commenced preparations for establishing an AI R&D center in Silicon Valley, focusing on intelligent technologies, particularly in the field of assisted driving. The recruitment of high-end talent began several months ago. This center will upgrade the previous small team in North America, with a focus on attracting R&D personnel with cutting-edge AI backgrounds. In addition to Silicon Valley, Li Auto's first overseas R&D center was launched in Munich, Germany, in January this year, concentrating on forward-looking design and next-generation electric drive, chassis, and power semiconductor technologies. Domestically, R&D centers are strategically located in Beijing and Shanghai, undertaking core technological breakthroughs and vehicle development.
