On December 15, Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast held the inauguration ceremony for its electric vehicle factory in Subang, West Java Province, Indonesia. Covering an area of 171 hectares, the factory has a planned total investment exceeding US$1 billion, with over US$300 million invested in the first phase. It is designed with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, which can be expanded to 350,000 vehicles in the future to meet domestic and international market demands.
