During the second quarter of 2025, smartphone shipments in the United States witnessed a 1% year-on-year increase, driven by vendors proactively stocking up amid ongoing tariff uncertainties. Notably, the market share of smartphones assembled in China declined significantly, from 61% in the second quarter of 2024 to just 25%. Conversely, shipments of smartphones manufactured in India soared by an impressive 240%, capturing 44% of the US market.
