At its much-anticipated product launch event, Apple took the wraps off a lineup of exciting new offerings. These include the groundbreaking first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, as well as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Accompanying these smartphones are the Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4, and AirPods 5.

The iPhone Duo stands out with its impressive 7.6-inch inner screen and a 5.4-inch outer screen. It is powered by the cutting-edge 2nm process A20 Pro chip, ensuring top-notch performance. To enhance user experience, a custom hinge has been incorporated to minimize creases. Moreover, it is fully compatible with the newly revamped iOS 27 system. For customers on the Chinese mainland, the starting price is set at 15,999 yuan, and pre-orders will kick off on October 16.

The iPhone 18 Pro series has also undergone some subtle yet notable design tweaks. It boasts an upgraded Dynamic Island feature, optimized chip packaging, and improved cooling systems. Additionally, the camera now comes equipped with a variable aperture function, allowing for more versatile photography. On the Chinese mainland, the starting price for this series is 9,999 yuan, with pre-orders beginning on September 12.

Siri AI is set to make its debut as a beta version alongside iOS 27. This advanced AI is capable of comprehending users' personal contexts and executing cross-app tasks seamlessly. Initially, it will be available only in English, with plans to expand its language support to multiple languages in the future. However, it's worth noting that this feature will not be available in China for the time being.

The Apple Watch has received significant upgrades, featuring enhanced health sensors and audio intelligence capabilities. Meanwhile, the AirPods 5 adopt an open design and offer a remarkable 50% improvement in noise cancellation, providing users with an even more immersive audio experience.

Apple positions these three new iPhones as 'personal intelligence hubs,' with the ambition to establish themselves as key entry points in the AI terminal landscape.
