CINNO Research has reported that in September of this year, global LCD TV panel prices are anticipated to undergo a modest overall decrease. However, the extent of this decline is expected to be less pronounced, with notable structural variations across different panel sizes. Driven by brands' year-end sales pushes and inventory build-up for major promotional events, there has been a short-term resurgence in demand. On the supply front, high-generation production lines continue to operate at high utilization rates, leading to a steady increase in shipment volumes during the third quarter. Despite this, the current oversupply situation persists, maintaining downward pressure on short-term prices. Faced with cost pressures from upstream raw materials, panel manufacturers might lower their utilization rates at the start of the fourth quarter to stabilize prices. Overall, prices are projected to weaken initially before achieving stability.
