The iQOO 16 will be the first globally to adopt Samsung's new-generation M16 luminescent material and feature LEAD™ display technology, which shares its origins with Apple's foldable screen technology and was jointly developed by iQOO and Samsung Display. The new device is equipped with a 6.85-inch 2K resolution Samsung flat screen, supporting a 165Hz dynamic refresh rate. The screen's R-corners and bezel design maintain a classic style, while the rear camera module adopts a rectangular arrangement in the top-left corner, representing a comprehensive upgrade in overall ID design. In terms of configuration, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, featuring 1115-series symmetrical dual speakers, a 0916-series X-axis linear motor, and integrating an independent display chip, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance certification, a USB 3.2 high-speed interface, and AR anti-reflective coating. The primary camera utilizes the OV50Q sensor. Currently, the device has entered the mass production preparation stage, with the specific release date yet to be determined.
