On September 4th, it was reported that Apple's upcoming foldable smartphone, the iPhone Ultra, may be priced significantly higher than expected due to chip shortages and supply chain bottlenecks. Market research firm IDC predicts that the average selling price of the device will reach $2,550. IDC also anticipates that by the end of 2027, Apple will have sold over 17 million iPhone Ultra units, generating revenue exceeding $45.7 billion.
