Walmart and Alphabet's drone delivery subsidiary Wing announced this week that they will expand their drone delivery service to seven new metropolitan areas across the United States, including Memphis and New Orleans. This move is part of their plan to establish a delivery network covering over 270 stores by 2027, with more than 1 million commercial deliveries already completed to date. The service can reach customers in as fast as 30 minutes, covering nearly 20 markets and targeting 40 million residents.
