The 8TB SDUC memory card, which was unveiled by SanDisk (a brand under the U.S.-based storage manufacturer Western Digital) several years ago, is now inching closer to its official market debut. In the meantime, a more rapid 4TB SD card has also surfaced in exhibition promotional materials. At this year's Computex Taipei, the SD Association took the opportunity to display the specifications of the new 4TB and 8TB SDUC cards at its booth. Several manufacturers participating in the exhibition disclosed to international media that these high-capacity memory cards are poised for imminent release. They are primarily aimed at digital cameras, handheld gaming consoles, and other portable gadgets, providing lightweight yet expansive storage solutions.
