As of the market close on October 23, 2025, all three major U.S. stock indices witnessed an upward trend. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.31%, the Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 0.89%, and the S&P 500 Index advanced 0.58%. The majority of large-cap tech stocks saw gains, with Tesla experiencing a remarkable surge of over 2%. Amazon and Nvidia both rose more than 1%, while Apple, Google, and Meta posted modest increases. Netflix, on the other hand, experienced a slight downturn. Among the popular Chinese concept stocks, there was a general upward movement. Alibaba rose by over 3%, while JD.com, Pinduoduo, and Baidu all increased by more than 2%. iQiyi, NetEase, Weibo, Li Auto, and XPeng also saw gains of over 1%.
