In the Chinese market, this trend is equally promising, with shipments forecast to reach 9.47 million units in 2025, up 3.3% year-on-year, and potentially surpassing the 10 million unit milestone by 2027.

During the first half of this year, China's foldable smartphone shipments reached 4.98 million units, registering a robust 12.6% year-on-year growth. Amidst this thriving market, Huawei stands out as the clear leader, capturing a commanding 75% market share. The company has shipped 3.74 million units so far this year, cumulatively exceeding the 10 million unit mark, a testament to its dominance. This success is partly attributed to the enhanced efficiency offered by HarmonyOS 5.

Trailing closely behind Huawei are Honor, OPPO, Xiaomi, and vivo, which occupy the second to fifth positions in the market, respectively.
