The XPeng Robotics team has recently welcomed Chen Jie, a renowned expert in reinforcement learning from Seed. Chen Jie, who boasts a Ph.D. from Harvard University, made the decision to join XPeng after a thorough evaluation of several leading Chinese embodied intelligence companies. The success of XPeng's MONA series, which has seen robust sales, has provided the necessary financial backbone for the company's continuous investment in the field of humanoid robots.
Since its launch in August of last year, the cumulative delivery of the MONA M03 has reached an impressive 150,000 units. Looking ahead, XPeng aims to mass-produce L3-level humanoid robots tailored for industrial scenarios by 2026 and anticipates investing tens of billions in this promising field. As we enter the "first year of embodied intelligence mass production," XPeng is actively scaling up its robotics team to meet the growing demands of the industry.
