On July 20th, China Eastern Airlines flight MU735, originally scheduled to depart Shanghai Pudong International Airport for Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport aboard an Airbus A350-900, encountered an unexpected situation. After takeoff, the flight circled the mouth of the Yangtze River approximately five times before conducting a fuel dump and returning to the airport. Rumors have surfaced suggesting that the return was necessitated by the "landing gear pin not being removed," although this information has yet to be officially verified. Nonetheless, the flight returned safely to Pudong Airport.
