Insider sources reveal that U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy is poised to announce, during his local-time Tuesday visit to Washington State, that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted its approval for the Boeing 737 MAX 10 model. Duffy's itinerary includes a tour of the Boeing facility in Everett, Washington State, on Tuesday, where he will underscore the FAA's airworthiness certification for this particular aircraft variant. The 737 MAX 10 represents a larger iteration within Boeing's highly popular model lineup, and its certification process has encountered several delays. Earlier in July of this year, Boeing inaugurated a new production line at its Everett plant to bolster the manufacturing capabilities for the 737 MAX series. Concurrently, this model is also in the midst of its final assembly phase at the Renton factory.
