Blue Origin, founded by Bezos, announced on Friday that it will significantly upgrade its Florida launch facilities with the goal of achieving multiple rocket launches per week by the end of this decade. To this end, the company will add two new launch and landing pads for the heavy-lift, partially reusable New Glenn rocket. Blue Origin stated that the $330 million expansion project at the 'Rocket Park' in Cape Canaveral is expected to be completed by the summer of 2027, at which point the annual production capacity for the upper stages of the New Glenn rocket could reach up to 150 units.
