Microsoft is optimizing the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) for Windows 11 to make the initial setup process faster for some devices. In the future, hardware partners will be able to skip non-critical driver and firmware updates during the OOBE phase, reducing the time users wait to reach the desktop. This feature is applicable to ARM devices running Windows 11 24H2 and later versions.
