On September 29, the primary construction work for Phase II of the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site was successfully wrapped up, marking the official initiation of joint training activities. This particular project boasts two versatile medium-sized liquid launch pads, designed to accommodate two-stage rockets with diameters less than 5 meters, exemplified by the Long March 12B. Following the upcoming joint training and rigorous testing phases, both launch pads are anticipated to be fully operational and ready to conduct launches within this year.
