The Shanghai Stock Exchange, in collaboration with China Securities Index Co., Ltd., has announced that the SSE Photovoltaic Technology Innovation Leading Index will make its official debut on October 9, 2026. This index will meticulously select 40 securities from photovoltaic-sector companies listed on both the STAR Market and the SSE Main Board. These chosen securities will represent companies that exhibit robust R&D capabilities and exceptional growth potential. Additionally, the index will assign a higher weighting to samples from the STAR Market, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of the overall performance of photovoltaic-sector listed companies across these two platforms. By doing so, it will offer the market a wider array of investment opportunities.
