Earlier reports indicated that Microsoft was set to introduce a PowerToys-inspired indicator feature for the Windows 11 mouse pointer, aimed at assisting users in swiftly locating the cursor on high-resolution and ultrawide displays. This functionality has now been implemented in the most recent beta release. Users can activate it by navigating to 'Settings > Accessibility > Mouse pointer and touch'. Once activated, pressing the Ctrl key will trigger a contracting black aura around the mouse pointer, effectively highlighting its location. Moreover, a novel setting, 'Keep indicator visible until manually turned off,' has been incorporated, enabling users to maintain the visibility of the indicator by pressing the key combination Win+Ctrl+Shift+M.
