At present, solid-state batteries have yet to reach large-scale mass production, and persistent core challenges, such as the longstanding "solid-solid interface contact issue," still need to be resolved. According to sources within the industry, the warm isostatic pressing process represents one of the pivotal methods for addressing this problem. Equipment manufacturers like Liyuanheng and Lead Intelligent have already commenced shipping warm isostatic pressing equipment, while companies such as Kexin Mechanical & Electrical, Hunan Chinse Intelligent Technology, and Rongqi Technology have also made relevant strategic arrangements. Currently, equipment manufacturers are collaborating closely with battery companies to surmount this technological hurdle. Du Yixian, the Dean of the Liyuanheng Research Institute, forecasts that significant breakthroughs in intelligent isostatic pressing control technology may materialize between 2026 and 2027.
