On Wednesday, Norway’s sovereign wealth fund—the largest of its kind globally—announced its performance: propelled by strong gains in Asian technology stocks, the fund delivered a 9.4% return, marking a record-breaking profit exceeding $184 billion for the first half of the year. The fund’s total assets now stand at approximately $2.34 trillion, with investments spanning over 50 countries and more than 7,000 companies, holding roughly 1.5% of the world’s publicly traded equities. In its semi-annual report, the fund disclosed for the first time that it holds a 0.05% stake in SpaceX, valued at just over $1.2 billion.
