The General Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province has released a notice outlining Several Measures to Foster Industry-Academia-Research Synergy in the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Sector. The initiative aims to streamline the pathways for product application. Among the specific measures proposed are the formulation of a medical application roster for BCI products, which will be dynamically updated in accordance with market availability. Enterprises are encouraged to set prices that are both independent and reasonable. Additionally, a streamlined 'express lane' has been introduced for the listing of medical consumables, ensuring that processing is finalized within 10 working days post-application. Medical institutions are also encouraged to procure products from the roster as required or to establish temporary procurement express lanes. Furthermore, the notice advocates for the implementation of pilot demonstration and promotion projects for innovative medical devices, as well as the facilitation of the application of key products and typical scenarios for national high-end medical equipment promotion endeavors.
