Recently, BOE announced during investor relations events held on May 6 and May 11 that its 8.6-generation AMOLED production line is projected to kick off mass production in mid-2026. The project was launched in November 2023, with a groundbreaking ceremony taking place in March 2024. The construction reached a significant milestone with the topping-out ceremony in September 2024. Remarkably, the relocation of process equipment commenced four months ahead of schedule in May 2025, and the production line was successfully lit up in December of the same year. This strategic development will bolster BOE's OLED production capacity framework, expedite the global OLED industry's penetration into the mid-sized display market segment, and infuse fresh vitality into the competitive landscape of the global flat-panel display market.
