On December 28, China's self-developed and world-leading 30-megawatt pure hydrogen gas turbine accomplished successful pure hydrogen power generation and entered into stable operation. This milestone signifies the transformation of the world's inaugural 30-megawatt "electricity-hydrogen-electricity" demonstration project from conceptual planning to tangible reality. This innovative project seamlessly integrates wind power, photovoltaic systems, and electrolytic water-based hydrogen production setups, establishing a circular paradigm where "green electricity generates green hydrogen, which in turn produces electricity once more." This approach effectively tackles the challenge of consuming surplus renewable energy power and offers a replicable, integrated solution. Additionally, the project has been honored as one of the inaugural batch of national-level hydrogen energy pilot projects within the energy sector.
