The developers of the Changjie programming language have announced that two core service delivery applications, Meituan Crowdsourcing and Meituan Rider, have recently been officially launched on the Huawei HarmonyOS App Market. These two applications represent the first in China's HarmonyOS ecosystem to be predominantly developed using the domestic Changjie programming language on a large scale, ensuring high compatibility with HarmonyOS. On their launch day, the main features of these apps were in line with those available on Android and Apple platforms, enabling riders to transition effortlessly. Riders with HarmonyOS-powered phones can access relevant rights and benefits, and those with HarmonyOS 6-compatible devices can download the apps directly from the Huawei App Market. Specifically, Meituan Crowdsourcing caters to part-time riders, while Meituan Rider is designed for full-time riders. This launch signifies Meituan's comprehensive integration of key business scenarios within the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
